Flood La 2010. Simply Amazing. When I was going up there I was just expecting the usual Flood La’s I’ve been to in the past: random bag checks, electronics being taken away, food being eaten by the security team, STRICT.
But something about this years just made everything click together. Really good camp food, security team into Encouragement team which was a very good choice, everyone seemed like they wanted to be there for God, and the Holy Spirit was really moving in everyone’s heart.
The worship blew me away. The soothing voices of Pastor Peter on the acoustic and Pastor Won on the electric and the angelic voice of Pastor Rebekah on the keys accompanied by Joe on the bass and Haku on the drums made the worship just so much better! What I love about worship is that I can move around, shout, open my eyes, close my eyes whenever I want!
Traditionally in the Korean retreats, it is the last night where everyone feels conviction and falls to their knees in worship, but this year, EVERY NIGHT the Holy Spirit was moving! Jesus was really blessing this retreat. Literally, a sprained thumb was healed, 10 people got the gift of tongues, manifestations occurred, people got prophesied over. Definitely a great jump start to my dead and tired spiritual life.
In my prophetic prayer, I found that there were three very similar things I caught and saw in common. One, I have a passionate heart. Two, I’m like King David (a man after God’s own heart. Three, I have a worrysome yoke on my back.
I really hope this fire doesn’t die. Jesus will help me.
So overall, I REALLY enjoyed this retreat! I met a lot of new people. I’ve been blessed by the Holy Spirit. I’m excited to sign up for as ET or Counselor! Flood La 2010.
